Indravati River is a tributary of the Godavari River, located in central India. It originates from the Eastern Ghats of Dandakaranya range in Kalahandi district and flows in a westerly direction; enters into Jagdalpur in Chhattisgarh state. It further traverses in the westerly direction and thereafter in southern direction before finally meeting Godavari River at the border of Maharashtra, Chhattisgarh and Andhra Pradesh. The river during its course forms the boundary between the states of Maharashtra and Chhattisgarh at various places.
